ISF CalibrationTelevisions and display panels arrive in retail stores and your home set to a factory setting. Although that setting is generally satisfactory - designed to stand out among the many televisions on a sales floor - with High Definition and top Quality DVD picture, expectations have been raised and consumers now demand more accurate images from their new televisions. A video calibration can provide a far better picture by going beyond the typical adjustments found in the user menu of a television. Contrast, brightness, sharpness, colour and tint settings of the TV are properly set and adjustments made to the focus, grey scale, geometry, and convergence located in the service menu of your TV. The grey scale is properly adjusted so the three primary colours (red, green and blue) combine to achieve a neutral grey. Many televisions can also benefit from lens convergence and fine focusing for improved image sharpness and depth. Professional testing and calibration equipment is required to allow for these adjustments. The result is extremely natural colour and unfatiquing light output.Your television has never looked better, and it will last longer. Video calibration is not available in mass market stores. We are part of group of AV specialists that have the proper equipment and the knowledge of an ISF certified technician to access the television controls, analyze data and adjust to industry standards. With your television or video display calibrated, what you see is the film the way the director intended with more life-like colour and greater detail. |
